Mission Statement

Our goal is to develop our abilities to be the best scientists, educators, and citizens possible.

To obtain this goal we will base our interactions, academic and non-academic, in confidence, honesty, and open communication. In other words our philosophy is one of abundance, where everyone can be a winner.

We commit ourselves to share our material and human resources openly, to fulfill our responsibilities, and to teach others our knowledge of science.

It is our responsibility to extend our knowledge, to ensure that we are competent scientists and educators.

One of our most important contributions to science and society is communicating our findings. Besides publishing our studies in scientific journals and presenting research projects at international meetings, we will share our information with the society at large.

To ensure that we fulfill our mission statement, we will frequently evaluate our activities, accomplishments, and future goals.
