Proposal of impact of Noise

ARBIMON Students on PRISM
Three ARBIMON undergraduates presented their on-going research projects at the the 43rd ACS Junior Technical Meeting and 28th Puerto Rico Interdisciplinary Scientific Meeting (PRISM):
JosiMar Figueroa - Noise effects in anuran and bird community in the urban mogotes in Puerto Rico.
Sharissa Ramirez - Interacciones Acústicas: Respuesta de Eleutherodactylus coqui a la presencia de Eleutherodactylus portoricensis.
Beatriz Oteroz - Efecto de la historia de uso de tierra para las comunidades de anfibios y aves en Puerto Rico.

New Students and DOD-Legacy visit
Following a site visit by Pedro Morales of the DOD-Legacy program, the second year of funding was approved. During the second year, we will be placing permanent recording stations in Arizona, Hawaii, and Spain. Hector Rodríguez, a graduate student in Computer Science joined the ARBIMON team.

Three new students have joined the ARBIMON team. Ivonne Deliz graduate student from Computer Science, Rafael Alvarez and Pedro Pastrana undergraduate students from Computer Science.
